1031 Exchange. Many dentists prefer our IRC 1031 tax free exchange of American Eagle gold and silver coins for the precious metals in their scrap dental crowns. Bullion coins are used to maintain the efficacy of the “like kind” requirements of the exchange.
- Working with a Direct Buyer. Ask the buyer to report the valuation of your scrap on an Exchange Form, choose the coins you want plus any balance in cash. Arrangements will then be made to complete the exchange in person or by mail. Current coin prices are emailed daily to our Direct Buyers.
- Mailing in. Upon receipt of your crowns, our highly trained staff will conduct the valuation on an Exchange Form and email it to you with current coin prices. You select the coins you want within the valuation total and any leftover amount (“boot”) will be paid in actual cash. Your coins and cash will then be sent via FedEx prepaid and insured.
